Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and optimize prompt architectures for large language models (GPT-4, Claude, etc.)
- Develop systematic testing protocols to evaluate prompt efficacy and model behavior
- Create reusable prompt templates and frameworks for enterprise use cases
- Collaborate with ML engineers to fine-tune model parameters based on prompt performance
- Document prompt engineering best practices and create training materials for internal teams
- Analyze user interaction data to iteratively improve prompt-response quality
- Stay current with emerging AI capabilities and prompt engineering methodologies
Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in prompt engineering or applied NLP roles
- Expertise in designing prompts for production-level language models
- Strong programming skills in Python with experience in AI/ML frameworks
- Proven ability to translate business requirements into technical prompt solutions
- Experience with A/B testing frameworks for prompt optimization
- Demonstrated understanding of model limitations and bias mitigation techniques
- Excellent written communication skills with ability to explain complex concepts
- Portfolio showcasing prompt engineering projects and their outcomes
