Responsibilities
- Monitor security alerts and incidents in real-time using SIEM tools (e.g., Splunk, QRadar).
- Conduct comprehensive vulnerability assessments and penetration testing.
- Manage and configure firewalls, IDS/IPS, and VPN gateways.
- Ensure compliance with internal policies and external regulatory standards (NIST, ISO 27001).
- Investigate and respond to security breaches to minimize downtime and data loss.
- Collaborate with IT and development teams to implement security best practices.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or a related field.
- CISSP, CEH, Security+, or GSEC certification is highly preferred.
- 3+ years of hands-on experience in a Security Operations Center (SOC) or Threat Analysis role.
- Strong understanding of TCP/IP, OSI model, and network protocols.
- Proficiency with Linux, Windows, and scripting languages (Python/Bash).
