Responsibilities
- Design & Implement: Architect, deploy, and manage scalable cloud infrastructure on AWS or Azure, ensuring high availability and performance.
- Optimization: Monitor system performance, analyze metrics, and proactively optimize cloud resources to reduce costs and improve efficiency.
- Security: Implement and enforce security best practices, ensuring compliance with industry standards (SOC2, HIPAA) and data privacy regulations.
- Automation: Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, or GitHub Actions to automate deployment processes.
- Collaboration: Partner with DevOps, Development, and Security teams to bridge the gap between infrastructure and application development.
- Disaster Recovery: Create and test robust backup and disaster recovery strategies to minimize downtime and data loss.
Qualifications
- Experience: 5+ years of professional experience in Cloud Engineering or System Administration.
- Cloud Mastery: Strong proficiency in AWS (preferred) or Azure, including EC2, S3, RDS, and VPC.
- Containerization: Deep understanding of Docker and Kubernetes orchestration.
- Scripting: Expert-level scripting skills in Python, Bash, or Go.
- IaC: Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
