Responsibilities
- Design and execute manual/automated test plans covering functional, regression, and performance testing
- Identify, document, and track defects using JIRA with clear reproduction steps and severity ratings
- Collaborate with developers and product owners to define test requirements and acceptance criteria
- Conduct cross-browser and cross-platform compatibility testing across 15+ environments
- Develop and maintain test automation scripts using Selenium/Cypress frameworks
- Perform security vulnerability assessments using OWASP ZAP and Burp Suite
- Analyze test metrics to identify trends and recommend process improvements
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or 5+ years equivalent QA/testing experience
- Expertise in test management tools (TestRail, Zephyr) and defect tracking systems
- Advanced knowledge of agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban) and CI/CD pipelines
- Strong SQL skills for database testing and data validation
- Certified Software Tester (CSTE) or ISTQB Advanced Level preferred
- Experience testing SaaS products and RESTful APIs
- Exceptional attention to detail with proven defect discovery rate
- Ability to communicate complex technical issues to non-technical stakeholders
