Responsibilities
- Design, test, and refine AI prompt architectures for large language models
- Collaborate with ML engineers to align prompt strategies with model capabilities
- Develop prompt engineering frameworks for diverse use cases (customer support, content generation, etc.)
- Conduct A/B testing of prompt variations to optimize output quality
- Create documentation and best practices for prompt engineering methodologies
- Stay current with emerging AI tools and prompt optimization techniques
- Mentor junior engineers on prompt engineering best practices
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Linguistics, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years of experience in prompt engineering or NLP/AI roles
- Proficiency with LLM APIs (OpenAI, Anthropic, etc.) and prompt frameworks
- Strong analytical skills with ability to interpret complex AI outputs
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Experience with Python and prompt engineering libraries
- Portfolio demonstrating successful prompt optimization projects
- Self-motivated with ability to work independently in remote environment
