Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and iterate on production-ready prompts for GPT-4, Claude 3, and proprietary language models
- Develop evaluation frameworks to measure prompt efficacy using quantitative metrics and human validation
- Collaborate with product teams to integrate prompt engineering solutions into customer-facing AI applications
- Create documentation and best practice guides for prompt optimization techniques
- Conduct A/B testing on prompt variations to improve response accuracy and safety
- Stay current with emerging LLM architectures and prompt engineering methodologies
Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in prompt engineering, NLP, or related AI field
- Portfolio demonstrating successful prompt optimization projects (required)
- Expertise in Python and prompt frameworks like LangChain or LlamaIndex
- Strong understanding of transformer architectures and attention mechanisms
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP) and GPU utilization
