As a key member of our IT team, you will ensure the reliability, security, and scalability of our network infrastructure supporting Fortune 500 clients.
Responsibilities
- Design, install, and configure local and wide-area network (LAN/WAN) hardware, including routers, switches, and firewalls.
- Monitor network performance and troubleshoot complex connectivity issues to ensure 99.9% uptime.
- Implement and maintain network security protocols, including VPNs, intrusion detection, and access control lists.
- Conduct regular network audits, capacity planning, and upgrades to support business growth.
- Document network diagrams, configurations, and standard operating procedures (SOPs) for team reference.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate new applications into the existing network infrastructure.
- Respond to and resolve escalated service tickets regarding network outages or performance degradation.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Certification in Cisco (CCNA/CCNP) or equivalent industry-recognized credentials.
- Minimum of 4 years of professional experience in network administration or engineering.
- Strong working knowledge of TCP/IP, OSI model, subnetting, and routing protocols (OSPF, BGP, EIGRP).
- Experience with network management tools such as SolarWinds, Wireshark, or PRTG.
- Familiarity with virtualization technologies (VMware, Hyper-V) and cloud networking (AWS/Azure) is a plus.
- Ability to lift and install server hardware and cabling equipment up to 50 lbs.
