Responsibilities
- Provide Tier 1 technical support to end-users via phone, email, and remote access tools.
- Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and network connectivity issues for employees.
- Assist in the setup, configuration, and maintenance of computer peripherals and mobile devices.
- Document all technical incidents, resolutions, and troubleshooting steps in the ticketing system.
- Monitor system performance and participate in regular software updates and patch management.
- Collaborate with the IT team to improve helpdesk efficiency and user satisfaction.
- Perform inventory checks and assist in the procurement of new IT assets.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; Associate degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field preferred.
- Familiarity with operating systems such as Windows, macOS, and basic Linux knowledge is a plus.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a logical approach to troubleshooting.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills to interact with non-technical users.
- Reliable internet connection and a quiet workspace for remote support duties.
- Eagerness to learn new technologies and obtain industry-recognized certifications (e.g., CompTIA A+).
- Ability to work flexible hours, including some evenings and weekends.
