Responsibilities
- Design, deploy, and optimize enterprise-grade LAN/WAN networks using Cisco, Juniper, and Fortinet technologies
- Lead network security implementations including firewalls, VPNs, and intrusion detection systems
- Monitor network performance via SolarWinds and Cisco Prime, proactively identifying and resolving outages
- Document network configurations using Visio and maintain ISO 27001 compliance documentation
- Collaborate with cloud engineers on hybrid cloud integrations and AWS/Azure networking solutions
- Provide Tier-3 support for complex network issues and mentor junior technicians
- Conduct network capacity planning and disaster recovery testing
Qualifications
- 5+ years of enterprise network administration with CCNP/JNCIP certification
- Expertise in routing protocols (BGP, OSPF) and network virtualization (VXLAN, SDN)
- Hands-on experience with Palo Alto firewalls and Cisco ASA configurations
- CCNA Security or CompTIA Security+ certification required
- Proven ability to troubleshoot complex network issues using Wireshark and tcpdump
- Familiarity with Python automation for network provisioning
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
- Valid California driver's license for occasional client site visits
