Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and maintain LAN/WAN infrastructure including routers, switches, and firewalls
- Monitor network performance using tools like SolarWinds and PRTG to proactively identify issues
- Implement network security protocols and conduct vulnerability assessments
- Provide Tier-2/3 technical support for complex network-related incidents
- Document network changes, configurations, and troubleshoot procedures
- Collaborate with cloud teams on hybrid network architecture optimization
Qualifications
- 3+ years of hands-on network administration experience with Cisco/Juniper equipment
- CCNA/CCNP or CompTIA Network+ certification required
- Proficiency in network protocols (TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF) and virtualization technologies
- Strong troubleshooting skills with Wireshark and network analyzers
- Experience with cloud networking (AWS/Azure) and SD-WAN solutions
- Ability to work rotating on-call shifts and occasional weekend maintenance
