Responsibilities
- Test Planning & Execution: Design, develop, and execute comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts for web and mobile applications.
- Bug Management: Identify, document, and track defects using JIRA, ensuring clear communication with the development team.
- Regression Testing: Perform thorough regression testing to ensure new code updates do not break existing functionalities.
- Automation (Preferred): Assist in writing and maintaining automated test scripts using Selenium or Cypress.
- Collaboration: Partner with product managers and developers to understand requirements and validate feature sets.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate test documentation, including test logs, reports, and metrics.
Qualifications
- Experience: 2+ years of experience in Quality Assurance or Software Testing.
- Technical Skills: Strong knowledge of manual testing methodologies, including functional, integration, and system testing.
- Tools: Familiarity with bug tracking tools (JIRA) and CI/CD pipelines is highly preferred.
- Automation: Experience with automation frameworks (Selenium, Appium, or Cypress) is a plus but not required.
- Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to articulate technical issues clearly.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent practical experience.
