Responsibilities
- Design, configure, and optimize enterprise-level network infrastructure including routers, switches, and firewalls
- Monitor network performance using tools like SolarWinds and Cisco Prime to ensure 99.9% uptime
- Implement security protocols (VPN, firewalls, intrusion detection) to protect against cyber threats
- Diagnose and resolve complex network outages with SLA-driven response times
- Document network topology, configurations, and standard operating procedures
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on cloud migration projects (AWS/Azure)
- Provide Tier-3 support for advanced network issues and vendor management
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years of enterprise network administration with Cisco/Juniper certification
- Expertise in TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, BGP, and MPLS protocols
- Hands-on experience with SD-WAN implementation and automation tools (Ansible)
- Strong problem-solving skills with network troubleshooting methodologies
- Valid CompTIA Network+ or CCNP certification required
- Ability to work independently in remote settings with strong communication skills
