Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and maintain Cisco/Juniper network hardware including routers, switches, and firewalls
- Monitor network performance using SolarWinds and resolve outages within SLA requirements
- Implement VLAN segmentation, VPN tunnels, and zero-trust security protocols
- Document network topologies using Visio and maintain asset management in ServiceNow
- Collaborate with cloud teams on hybrid cloud integration projects
- Conduct proactive vulnerability scans and remediate security risks
- Provide Tier 3 support for complex network incidents
Qualifications
- 5+ years experience in enterprise network administration (CCNP/JNCIP preferred)
- Expertise in OSPF, BGP, and MPLS protocols
- Proficiency with Palo Alto firewalls and Cisco ISE
- Strong knowledge of AWS/Azure networking services
- Valid CCNA certification or equivalent experience required
- Experience with network automation (Python/Ansible)
- Ability to lift 50lbs for equipment deployments
- Excellent troubleshooting skills with Wireshark and tcpdump
