Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and troubleshoot Cisco, Juniper, and Arista network equipment including routers, switches, and firewalls
- Monitor network performance using SolarWinds and PRTG, proactively identifying and resolving issues
- Implement and maintain secure VPN connections, VLANs, and network segmentation
- Document network topologies, configurations, and standard operating procedures
- Collaborate with cloud teams on hybrid network architecture and AWS/Azure integration
- Lead network upgrade projects including hardware refreshes and protocol migrations
- Provide Tier-3 support escalation for complex network incidents
Qualifications
- 5+ years of enterprise network administration experience with CCNP/JNCIP certification
- Expertise in BGP, OSPF, and VLAN configuration with hands-on troubleshooting
- Strong knowledge of SD-WAN technologies (Cisco Viptela, VMware VeloCloud)
- Familiarity with network automation using Python/Ansible and Terraform
- Experience with network security frameworks (NIST, CIS) and firewall policies
- Valid CCNA Security or equivalent security certification required
- Ability to lift 50lbs and work occasional off-hours for maintenance windows
