Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and troubleshoot Cisco, Juniper, and Arista network hardware
- Monitor network performance using SolarWinds and PRTG tools
- Implement security protocols including firewalls, VPNs, and intrusion detection systems
- Document network topology, configurations, and standard operating procedures
- Collaborate with cloud teams to integrate hybrid network solutions
- Provide Tier 3 support for complex network outages and incidents
- Lead network upgrade projects including 10G/40G fiber deployments
Qualifications
- CCNA or CompTIA Network+ certification required
- 3+ years experience with enterprise network administration
- Proficiency in BGP, OSPF, and VLAN configuration
- Experience with network automation using Python or Ansible
- Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and VPN technologies
- Familiarity with AWS VPC and Azure networking services
- Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent written communication skills for technical documentation
