Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and optimize secure LAN/WAN infrastructure including Cisco routers and switches
- Monitor network performance using tools like SolarWinds and resolve incidents within SLA
- Configure and maintain firewalls (Palo Alto, Fortinet) and VPN solutions
- Lead network upgrades, migrations, and disaster recovery initiatives
- Document network architecture and create technical procedures
- Provide Tier 3 support for complex network issues
- Collaborate with cloud teams on hybrid cloud integrations
Qualifications
- 5+ years of enterprise network administration experience
- CCNP or equivalent certification required (CCIE preferred)
- Expertise in TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, and VLAN configurations
- Strong knowledge of VMware ESXi and Hyper-V virtualization
- Experience with SD-WAN solutions (Cisco Viptela, VMware SD-WAN)
- Proficiency in network automation (Python, Ansible)
- Ability to manage projects using JIRA and ServiceNow
- BS in Computer Science or related field
