Responsibilities
- Monitor and protect equity options trading systems using SIEM tools and advanced threat detection protocols
- Conduct vulnerability assessments on financial platforms handling derivative instruments
- Develop incident response playbooks for options market manipulation attacks
- Collaborate with traders to implement cybersecurity controls for option pricing algorithms
- Perform penetration testing on options trading APIs and exchange connectivity systems
- Ensure compliance with SEC regulations and FINRA cybersecurity frameworks
- Document security protocols for equity derivatives infrastructure
Qualifications
- 5+ years in cybersecurity with specialized focus on financial services or derivatives markets
- Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH) or CISSP certification required
- Expertise in threat intelligence analysis for financial market manipulation
- Deep understanding of equity options pricing models and trading systems
- Experience with weekend shift cybersecurity operations
- Proficiency in Python for security automation and threat modeling
- Familiarity with FIX protocol and options exchange connectivity
- Ability to work independently in high-pressure financial environments
