Responsibilities
- Data Collection & Cleaning: Gather, clean, and validate complex datasets from various internal sources to ensure high-quality inputs for analysis.
- Night Shift Operations: Monitor and analyze system performance and data streams during off-peak hours to identify anomalies and operational opportunities.
- Visual Reporting: Design and maintain interactive dashboards (Tableau/PowerBI) to visualize key performance indicators (KPIs) for night-shift leadership.
- Statistical Analysis: Perform deep-dive statistical analysis to forecast trends and support strategic planning for the upcoming shifts.
- Collaboration: Partner with engineering and product teams to translate data findings into actionable business requirements.
- Process Improvement: Identify inefficiencies in data workflows and propose technical solutions to streamline operations.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in SQL for complex querying and Python or R for data manipulation and scripting.
- Visualization: Strong experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau, PowerBI, or Looker.
- Shift Availability: Must be willing and able to work a Night Shift schedule (e.g., 10:00 PM - 6:00 AM).
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present technical findings to non-technical stakeholders.
- Relocation: Must be willing to relocate to Austin, Texas (Relocation assistance provided).
