As a Senior Data Analyst at Apex, you will bridge the gap between technical data science and business strategy, ensuring our stakeholders have the tools they need to succeed in a competitive market.
Responsibilities
- Data Strategy & Management: Lead the end-to-end process of gathering, cleaning, and validating large datasets to ensure high data quality and integrity.
- Advanced Reporting: Develop and maintain complex SQL queries, Python scripts, and automated reporting systems to track key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Visualization: Design interactive, user-friendly dashboards using Tableau and Power BI to visualize trends and present findings to executive leadership.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams (Marketing, Sales, Operations) to understand business requirements and translate them into analytical solutions.
- Forecasting & Modeling: Build predictive models and statistical analyses to forecast market trends and support long-term planning.
- Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for process automation and efficiency gains within the data operations team.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Economics, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
- Experience: Minimum of 4-6 years of professional experience in data analysis or business intelligence.
- Technical Skills: Strong proficiency in SQL (PostgreSQL, MySQL) and Python (Pandas, NumPy) for data manipulation.
- Visualization: Extensive experience creating dashboards in Tableau or Power BI.
- Communication: Exceptional ability to communicate complex data concepts to non-technical audiences clearly and concisely.
- Tools: Advanced Excel skills and familiarity with ETL tools and cloud data warehouses (e.g., Snowflake, AWS).
