Responsibilities
- Threat Detection & Monitoring: Analyze network traffic and system logs using SIEM tools to identify and respond to potential security breaches in real-time.
- Incident Response: Lead the investigation and remediation of cybersecurity incidents, minimizing downtime and data loss.
- Security Compliance: Ensure all systems and processes adhere to regulatory standards such as HIPAA, PCI-DSS, and SOC 2.
- Vulnerability Management: Conduct regular vulnerability scans and penetration testing to proactively identify weaknesses.
- Policy Development: Assist in drafting, updating, and enforcing information security policies and procedures.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field; equivalent experience is accepted.
- Certifications: CISSP, CISM, or CEH is highly preferred.
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in cybersecurity, information security, or network administration.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency with SIEM tools (Splunk, QRadar), firewalls (Cisco, Palo Alto), and endpoint protection solutions.
- Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
