Responsibilities
- Lead enterprise-level threat detection, investigation, and remediation using SIEM tools (Splunk, QRadar)
- Develop and implement advanced security monitoring protocols for cloud and hybrid environments
- Conduct forensic analysis of security incidents and provide actionable mitigation strategies
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance security posture and compliance (NIST, ISO 27001)
- Mentor junior analysts and contribute to continuous security program improvements
- Proactively research emerging threats and recommend defensive countermeasures
Qualifications
- 5+ years in cybersecurity with 3+ years in threat detection or incident response
- Certifications: CISSP, CEH, or GIAC (e.g., GCFA, GCIH)
- Expertise in network security, endpoint protection, and cloud security architectures
- Proficiency in scripting (Python, PowerShell) and automation tools
- Strong analytical skills with ability to document complex security events
- Experience with zero-trust frameworks and identity management solutions
- Ability to work independently in remote environments with minimal supervision
