Responsibilities
- Monitor security alerts and manage incident response workflows using SIEM tools (e.g., Splunk, QRadar).
- Conduct regular vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify system weaknesses.
- Design and implement security controls, firewalls, and intrusion detection systems.
- Enforce compliance standards such as HIPAA, PCI-DSS, and NIST frameworks.
- Collaborate with IT and development teams to secure cloud infrastructure (AWS/Azure).
- Produce detailed security reports and documentation for stakeholders.
- Lead security awareness training programs for employees.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Information Systems, or related field.
- Certification preferred: CISSP, CEH, Security+, or GCIH.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in cybersecurity, incident response, or network security.
- Strong knowledge of network protocols, operating systems, and security architectures.
- Experience with endpoint detection and response (EDR) and threat intelligence.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Effective communication skills to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
