Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyze security alerts using SIEM tools (e.g., Splunk, Sentinel) to identify potential threats and vulnerabilities in real-time.
- Conduct regular penetration testing and vulnerability assessments to proactively strengthen network defenses.
- Lead and coordinate incident response efforts for security breaches, ensuring rapid recovery and containment.
- Ensure strict compliance with industry standards, including NIST, ISO 27001, and HIPAA regulations.
- Develop and maintain robust security policies, procedures, and training programs for employees across the organization.
- Collaborate closely with engineering teams to secure hybrid cloud environments (AWS/Azure) and on-premise systems.
- Provide expert consultation to stakeholders on security best practices and risk mitigation strategies.
Qualifications
- Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) or Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH) is highly preferred.
- A minimum of 5+ years of hands-on experience in cybersecurity, network security, or a related technical field.
- Deep understanding of TCP/IP, OSI models, and common security protocols.
- Proficiency with security tools such as FireEye, Darktrace, or similar SIEM platforms.
- Experience with scripting and automation using Python or Bash.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills for presenting complex security findings to executive leadership.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
