Responsibilities
- Monitor & Analyze: Continuously monitor security alerts and SIEM dashboards to identify and respond to potential threats in real-time.
- Incident Response: Lead the investigation and remediation of security breaches, coordinating with the red team and engineering teams.
- Threat Hunting: Conduct proactive searches through network traffic and endpoints to uncover hidden threats and vulnerabilities.
- Vulnerability Management: Oversee the vulnerability assessment process, ensuring patches are applied according to severity and compliance standards.
- Reporting: Generate detailed incident reports and security dashboards for stakeholders, communicating complex technical findings clearly.
- Compliance: Ensure all security controls align with NIST, ISO 27001, and HIPAA frameworks.
Qualifications
- Certifications: CISSP, CEH, Security+, or equivalent is highly preferred.
- Experience: Minimum 4-6 years of experience in cybersecurity, SOC, or network defense.
- Shift Requirement: Must be willing and able to work the Night Shift (e.g., 10:00 PM - 6:00 AM or 11:00 PM - 7:00 AM).
- Tools: Proficient in Splunk, SIEM tools, and scripting languages like Python or PowerShell.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field.
- Relocation: Must be open to relocating to Fort Worth, TX, with assistance provided.
