Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyze security alerts using SIEM platforms (Splunk/Symantec)
- Lead incident response for ransomware, APT, and DDoS attacks
- Develop and implement threat hunting strategies for zero-day vulnerabilities
- Conduct forensic investigations and root cause analysis
- Collaborate with cloud security teams on AWS/Azure environments
- Generate executive-level security metrics and risk assessments
- Mentor junior analysts and improve SOC workflows
Qualifications
- 5+ years in cybersecurity with 3+ years in SOC operations
- CISSP, CISM, or GIAC certification required
- Expertise in NIST CSF, ISO 27001, and MITRE ATT&CK frameworks
- Advanced knowledge of network security tools (Palo Alto, Fortinet)
- Experience with cloud security (AWS WAF, Azure Sentinel)
- Strong scripting skills (Python, PowerShell)
- Active TS/SCI clearance preferred
