Responsibilities
- Design and implement multi-cloud infrastructure solutions using AWS/Azure services (EC2, S3, Lambda, Azure Functions)
- Automate deployment pipelines using Terraform, Ansible, and CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI)
- Optimize cloud environments for cost, security, and performance through FinOps best practices
- Lead migration projects from on-premises to cloud while maintaining 99.99% uptime SLAs
- Develop and maintain infrastructure-as-code (IaC) templates and deployment scripts
- Collaborate with DevOps teams to implement robust monitoring and logging solutions (Datadog, Splunk)
- Mentor junior engineers and conduct peer code reviews for infrastructure code
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field with 5+ years cloud engineering experience
- Expert-level AWS/Azure certifications (Solutions Architect, DevOps Engineer)
- Proficiency in infrastructure-as-code tools (Terraform, CloudFormation) and scripting languages (Python, PowerShell)
- Deep understanding of Kubernetes orchestration and containerization (Docker, EKS, AKS)
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure automation
- Strong background in cloud security frameworks (CIS Benchmarks, AWS WAF, Azure Security Center)
- Proven track record of optimizing cloud costs and implementing FinOps strategies
