Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyze security alerts across enterprise networks using Splunk and IBM QRadar
- Lead incident response investigations for malware, ransomware, and APT attacks
- Develop and maintain security playbooks for threat hunting and vulnerability management
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement NIST 800-53 controls
- Conduct penetration testing and security assessments for client environments
- Generate executive-level security dashboards and compliance reports
- Mentor junior analysts and contribute to security awareness training programs
Qualifications
- 5+ years of hands-on cybersecurity experience with SOC operations
- Certification in CISSP, CISM, or GIAC (e.g., GCFA, GCIH)
- Expertise in network security protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, VPN) and cloud platforms (AWS/Azure)
- Proficiency in Python or PowerShell for automation tasks
- Strong understanding of compliance frameworks (HIPAA, PCI-DSS, GDPR)
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
- Experience with threat intelligence platforms (Mandiant, Recorded Future)
