Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and maintain local area network (LAN) and wide area network (WAN) systems.
- Perform routine network troubleshooting to identify and resolve hardware or software issues.
- Manage and update network documentation, including diagrams and configuration logs.
- Monitor network performance and security to ensure optimal uptime and data protection.
- Collaborate with the IT team to implement new network solutions and upgrades.
- Assist in cable management and physical network infrastructure maintenance.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; Associate degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field preferred.
- Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) certification is a plus but not mandatory.
- Proven experience with network hardware installation and configuration.
- Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and routing protocols.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
