Responsibilities
- Design, deploy, and manage scalable cloud infrastructure on AWS and Azure using IaC tools like Terraform and CloudFormation.
- Lead cloud migration strategies, including re-platforming, re-hosting, and refactoring legacy applications.
- Implement and enforce robust security protocols, including identity management (IAM) and data encryption standards.
- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitLab, or GitHub Actions to automate deployment processes.
- Monitor system performance and health using tools like Datadog or Prometheus, proactively addressing potential issues.
- Conduct regular cost optimization reviews to ensure cloud spending remains within budget.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
- 5+ years of proven experience as a Cloud Engineer or DevOps Engineer.
- Strong expertise in AWS (Certified Solutions Architect preferred) and Azure.
- Proficiency in Kubernetes (EKS, AKS) and container orchestration.
- Experience with scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
- Deep understanding of networking concepts (VPC, subnets, routing) and hybrid cloud architectures.
