Responsibilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts for web and mobile applications.
- Perform manual and automated testing to identify defects, bugs, and usability issues.
- Document detailed bug reports in JIRA and collaborate with developers to ensure timely resolutions.
- Conduct regression testing to validate that recent code changes have not negatively impacted existing functionality.
- Analyze system logs and user feedback to improve application stability and performance.
- Participate in daily stand-ups and sprint planning meetings to align on testing goals.
- Maintain a deep understanding of the SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle) and QA methodologies.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2-3 years of professional experience in software quality assurance testing.
- Strong proficiency in SQL for data verification and complex queries.
- Familiarity with automation testing frameworks such as Selenium or Cypress.
- Experience with bug tracking tools like JIRA, Trello, or Bugzilla.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills to bridge the gap between technical teams and stakeholders.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent work experience.
