Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable cloud architectures on AWS/Azure/GCP with 99.99% uptime SLAs
- Automate infrastructure deployment using Terraform, Ansible, and CI/CD pipelines
- Optimize cloud costs through resource tagging, instance rightsizing, and reserved instance strategies
- Lead migration projects from on-premises to hybrid cloud environments
- Implement robust security frameworks including IAM policies, network ACLs, and encryption protocols
- Monitor and troubleshoot cloud infrastructure using CloudWatch, Azure Monitor, and Grafana
- Document architectural decisions and create runbooks for operational teams
Qualifications
- 5+ years of cloud engineering experience with 3+ years in AWS/Azure/GCP
- Expertise in infrastructure-as-code tools (Terraform, CloudFormation)
- Strong knowledge of container orchestration (Kubernetes, EKS, AKS)
- CI/CD pipeline development using Jenkins, GitLab CI, or GitHub Actions
- Cloud security certifications (CCSP, Security+, or equivalent)
- Experience with cloud cost optimization and FinOps practices
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
- Strong problem-solving skills with experience in incident response
