Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases for web and mobile applications.
- Perform manual and automated testing to identify defects, bugs, and usability issues.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (developers, product managers) to troubleshoot issues and verify fixes.
- Maintain accurate and detailed bug reports in JIRA, tracking defects from detection to resolution.
- Conduct regression testing on new builds to ensure existing functionality remains intact.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging testing tools to recommend process improvements.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of professional experience in Software Quality Assurance or Software Testing.
- Strong understanding of QA methodologies, test life cycles, and quality standards.
- Familiarity with automation testing frameworks such as Selenium, Cypress, or Appium is highly preferred.
- Experience with SQL databases and API testing (e.g., Postman) is a strong plus.
- Excellent attention to detail and the ability to spot edge cases others might miss.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to clearly articulate technical issues to non-technical stakeholders.
