Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyze security alerts using SIEM platforms to detect and respond to sophisticated threats
- Conduct forensic investigations and incident response for security breaches
- Develop and implement security controls aligned with NIST and CIS frameworks
- Collaborate with IT teams to ensure secure system architectures and configurations
- Generate comprehensive security reports for executive stakeholders
- Lead vulnerability assessments and penetration testing initiatives
- Maintain compliance with industry regulations (HIPAA, PCI-DSS)
Qualifications
- 5+ years of cybersecurity experience with 2+ years in SOC analyst roles
- CompTIA Security+, CISSP, or GIAC certification required
- Expertise in threat detection tools (Splunk, Darktrace, CrowdStrike)
- Strong knowledge of network protocols and attack vectors
- Experience with cloud security (AWS/Azure) and zero-trust architectures
