Responsibilities
- Execute manual and automated test cases to identify software defects and ensure product quality
- Document test results, bugs, and issues using JIRA and other tracking tools
- Collaborate with developers, product managers, and cross-functional teams to resolve defects
- Develop comprehensive test plans and test scripts based on project requirements
- Perform regression testing on new features and product updates
- Analyze test metrics to provide actionable insights for product improvements
- Maintain and update test documentation regularly
Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience in manual and automated software testing
- Proficiency with test management tools (JIRA, TestRail) and bug tracking systems
- Familiarity with testing methodologies (black-box, white-box, regression, smoke testing)
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail with ability to spot inconsistencies
- Experience with SQL and basic scripting (Python, JavaScript) preferred
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
- Agile/Scrum experience desirable
