Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and maintain enterprise network hardware including routers, switches, and firewalls
- Monitor network performance using tools like SolarWinds and Wireshark
- Document network topologies and create SOPs for operational procedures
- Collaborate with cybersecurity teams to implement security protocols
- Provide Tier 2/3 technical support for network connectivity issues
- Participate in 24/7 on-call rotation after training completion
- Assist in network upgrades and migrations while minimizing downtime
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (college degree preferred)
- Basic understanding of networking concepts (TCP/IP, OSI model)
- Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and work in server environments
- Valid California driver's license (for occasional site visits)
- CompTIA Network+ or willingness to obtain during training
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Must pass background check and drug screening
