Job Summary:
We are looking for a proactive tester who can bridge the gap between development and business requirements. You will be instrumental in the software development lifecycle (SDLC), identifying defects early, and providing actionable feedback to developers.
Responsibilities
- Develop, maintain, and execute comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts for web and mobile applications.
- Conduct manual and automated testing to ensure software functionality, usability, and performance.
- Identify, document, and track software defects using Jira, ensuring clear communication with developers.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Product Managers, Developers, Designers) to define quality requirements.
- Perform regression testing on new releases and updates to prevent the introduction of new bugs.
- Analyze test results and provide detailed reports to stakeholders regarding software readiness.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 2+ years of professional experience as a QA Tester or Software Quality Assurance Engineer.
- Experience with manual testing methodologies and web testing tools (Chrome DevTools, F12).
- Knowledge of SQL for database validation and query execution.
- Familiarity with automation tools such as Selenium, Cypress, or Playwright is a strong plus.
- Strong understanding of Agile/Scrum development methodologies.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a keen eye for detail.
