Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and maintain LAN/WAN infrastructure including routers, switches, and firewalls
- Proactively monitor network performance using tools like SolarWinds and PRTG
- Diagnose and resolve network outages with 4-hour SLA response time
- Document network changes and maintain accurate topology diagrams
- Collaborate with cybersecurity team on vulnerability assessments
- Provide Tier-2 support for VoIP and cloud services
- Implement network security protocols and access controls
Qualifications
- Associate's degree in IT or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years hands-on network administration experience
- Cisco CCNP or CompTIA Network+ certification required
- Proficiency in Cisco IOS/Junos and VMware virtualization
- Strong knowledge of TCP/IP protocols and OSI model
- Experience with network monitoring tools (SolarWinds, Nagios)
- Ability to lift 50lbs and work in server environments
- Valid Alaska driver's license for on-site support
