Responsibilities
- Design, test, and optimize prompts for GPT, Claude, and other large language models
- Develop prompt libraries and documentation for enterprise clients

- Collaborate with data scientists to align prompts with model training objectives
- Conduct A/B testing to identify highest-performing prompt variations
- Create technical documentation for prompt engineering methodologies
- Maintain prompt version control and performance metrics
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Linguistics, or related field
- 2+ years of prompt engineering or AI interaction design experience
- Proficiency with Python and API integration (OpenAI, Anthropic)
- Strong analytical skills for evaluating AI model outputs
- Portfolio demonstrating prompt optimization projects
- Excellent written communication and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Familiarity with Virginia Beach tech ecosystem preferred
