Responsibilities
- Provide Tier 1 Technical Support: Assist employees with hardware, software, and peripheral issues via phone, email, and in-person support.
- Troubleshoot Systems: Diagnose and resolve common computer errors, connectivity issues, and application conflicts.
- Asset Management: Assist in the setup, configuration, and maintenance of company hardware and software inventory.
- Network Assistance: Support local area network (LAN) operations and ensure secure connectivity for workstations.
- Documentation: Log all technical tickets and resolutions accurately in the helpdesk system.
- Onboarding Support: Set up workstations and provide initial IT orientation for new hires.
- Security Compliance: Adhere to company security protocols and assist in maintaining a secure IT environment.
Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent; Associate’s degree in Information Technology or related field preferred.
- Experience: No prior professional IT experience required; internship or academic projects are a plus.
- Technical Aptitude: Basic understanding of computer components, operating systems (Windows/macOS), and peripherals.
