Responsibilities
- Configure, install, and maintain local area network (LAN) and wide area network (WAN) hardware and software.
- Monitor network performance, troubleshoot connectivity issues, and resolve hardware/software conflicts.
- Perform regular security updates and patch management on network devices.
- Assist in the setup and maintenance of server racks and structured cabling infrastructure.
- Document network architecture, configurations, and troubleshooting procedures accurately.
- Provide technical support to end-users regarding network access, security protocols, and basic troubleshooting.
Qualifications
- Associate degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent technical certification (e.g., CCNA, Network+).
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in network administration or IT support.
- Strong working knowledge of TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS, and routing protocols.
- Experience with Cisco, Juniper, or similar networking equipment.
- Ability to lift and carry networking equipment up to 50 lbs.
- Reliable transportation and availability for a part-time schedule.
