Responsibilities
- Diagnose and resolve network connectivity issues across LAN/WAN environments
- Install, configure, and maintain network hardware (routers, switches, firewalls)
- Perform network monitoring and security vulnerability assessments
- Document network configurations and create technical documentation
- Provide Tier 2/3 user support for network-related incidents
- Assist with network upgrades and infrastructure expansion projects
- Collaborate with vendors for equipment procurement and maintenance
Qualifications
- Associate degree in IT or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years of hands-on network administration experience
- CompTIA Network+ or CCNA certification required
- Proficiency with Cisco/Juniper enterprise networking equipment
- Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and VPN protocols
- Experience with network monitoring tools (SolarWinds, PRTG)
- Excellent troubleshooting and customer service skills
- Valid California driver's license for occasional on-site visits
