Responsibilities
- Monitor security alerts and SIEM systems to detect and respond to potential cyber threats in real-time.
- Conduct periodic vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify system weaknesses.
- Implement and configure firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and other security controls.
- Investigate security incidents, analyze logs, and recommend remediation strategies.
- Assist in the development and updating of security policies and compliance documentation.
- Provide technical guidance and security awareness training to internal stakeholders.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in cybersecurity or a related IT field.
- Relevant certifications such as CompTIA Security+, CEH, or CISSP (Associate level preferred).
- Strong understanding of TCP/IP networking, VPNs, and encryption standards.
- Proven experience with threat intelligence platforms and incident response procedures.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to write clear technical reports.
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment and manage time effectively.
