Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyze security alerts using SIEM tools (Splunk, QRadar)
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing
- Develop incident response plans and conduct tabletop exercises
- Implement security controls for cloud (AWS/Azure) and on-premise environments
- Create cybersecurity awareness training materials for clients
- Stay current on threat intelligence via MITRE ATT&CK framework
- Document security procedures and compliance reports (NIST, ISO 27001)
Qualifications
- 3+ years in cybersecurity with hands-on incident response experience
- CompTIA Security+ or CISSP certification (or equivalent)
- Proficiency in network protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP/S)
- Experience with endpoint protection (EDR) and firewall technologies
- Familiarity with Linux/Windows security hardening
- Basic scripting skills (Python, Bash)
- Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks
- Valid driver's license for occasional client site visits
