Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyze security alerts using SIEM tools (Splunk/Symantec)
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing
- Incident response coordination and threat mitigation
- Develop and maintain security documentation/policies
- Collaborate with IT teams on security architecture improvements
- Perform forensic investigations for security incidents
- Stay current on emerging threats and compliance requirements (NIST, HIPAA)
Qualifications
- 3+ years in cybersecurity with focus on threat detection
- CompTIA Security+/CEH/CISSP certification required
- Proficiency in SIEM tools, firewalls (Palo Alto/Checkpoint), and IDS/IPS
- Experience with Windows/Linux security hardening
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent written/verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently and in cross-functional teams
- Relevant bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
