Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and maintain LAN/WAN infrastructure including routers, switches, and firewalls
- Diagnose and resolve network outages using monitoring tools like SolarWinds and Nagios
- Implement security protocols including VPNs, firewalls, and intrusion detection systems
- Document network configurations and create technical documentation
- Provide Tier 2/3 support for cloud-based services (Azure, AWS)
- Collaborate with cybersecurity team on vulnerability assessments
- Optimize network performance using traffic analysis tools
Qualifications
- Associate's degree in IT or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years network administration experience with Cisco/Juniper devices
- CompTIA Network+ or CCNA certification required
- Proficiency in TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and VPN technologies
- Experience with virtualization (VMware/Hyper-V)
- Strong troubleshooting skills with network analyzers
- Familiarity with remote support tools (TeamViewer, AnyDesk)
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
