Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and maintain network hardware including routers, switches, and firewalls
- Monitor network performance using tools like SolarWinds and Wireshark
- Resolve network outages and security incidents within SLA timeframes
- Document network topology, configurations, and standard operating procedures
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on cloud migration projects
- Implement VLANs, VPNs, and wireless network solutions
- Conduct regular network audits and vulnerability assessments
- Provide Tier 3 support for complex network issues
Qualifications
- Associate's degree in IT or equivalent certification (CompTIA Network+, CCNA)
- 3+ years of hands-on network administration experience
- Proficiency in TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and VPN protocols
- Experience with Cisco and Juniper network equipment
- Strong troubleshooting skills using diagnostic tools
- Familiarity with cloud networking (AWS/Azure) preferred
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Valid driver's license for occasional on-site visits
