Responsibilities
- Monitor, analyze, and respond to security alerts and incidents using SIEM tools (e.g., Splunk, Sentinel).
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing support to identify system weaknesses.
- Enforce security policies and access controls to protect organizational assets.
- Collaborate with IT teams to integrate security best practices into the software development lifecycle.
- Prepare and present detailed incident reports and threat intelligence briefings to stakeholders.
- Manage patch management and remediation processes for operating systems and applications.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related technical field (Master’s preferred).
- 5+ years of experience in cybersecurity, information security, or network administration.
- Certifications such as CISSP, CEH, Security+, or GCIH are highly preferred.
- Strong knowledge of NIST frameworks, incident response procedures, and threat modeling.
- Proficiency in scripting (Python or PowerShell) and understanding of Linux/Windows environments.
