Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and maintain local area networks (LANs) and wide area networks (WANs).
- Diagnose and resolve network connectivity issues efficiently and effectively.
- Perform regular system backups and ensure data integrity and security.
- Configure routers, switches, firewalls, and related network hardware.
- Monitor network performance and troubleshoot hardware or software failures.
- Document network architecture, configurations, and changes.
Qualifications
- Associate’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- Valid CCNA or similar networking certification is preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in network administration or technical support.
- Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and subnetting.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Windows Server and Linux operating systems.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
