Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and maintain local area networks (LANs), wide area networks (WANs), and internet connectivity.
- Perform daily network monitoring and troubleshooting to ensure optimal performance and security.
- Configure routers, switches, firewalls, and other network hardware (Cisco/Juniper).
- Respond to and resolve network incidents and service tickets in a timely manner.
- Conduct regular network audits and security assessments to identify vulnerabilities.
- Collaborate with the IT team to upgrade systems and implement new technologies.
- Provide technical support and training to end-users regarding network issues.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Network Technician or similar role.
- Valid Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) or CompTIA Network+ certification is highly preferred.
- Deep knowledge of TCP/IP, subnetting, routing protocols (OSPF, BGP), and VLANs.
- Experience with network monitoring tools (e.g., SolarWinds, PRTG).
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to obtain a relevant security clearance if required.
