In this role, you will play a critical part in ensuring our network infrastructure remains robust, secure, and efficient. We are looking for a proactive individual who is ready to tackle technical challenges head-on.
Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and troubleshoot local area network (LAN) and wide area network (WAN) hardware and software.
- Monitor network performance, identify bottlenecks, and implement solutions to optimize speed and reliability.
- Perform routine maintenance, updates, and security patches on routers, switches, and firewalls.
- Assist in the design and implementation of network infrastructure upgrades and cabling systems.
- Provide technical support and training to end-users regarding network access and connectivity issues.
- Maintain accurate documentation of network diagrams, configurations, and troubleshooting logs.
Qualifications
- Associate degree or certificate in Computer Science, Network Engineering, or related field.
- CompTIA Network+ certification (or equivalent experience) is preferred.
- Minimum 2-3 years of professional experience in network administration or technical support.
- Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and routing protocols (OSPF, BGP).
- Experience with Cisco and/or Juniper network equipment.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently with flexible hours.
